Hey there, I'm Austin Williams, and standing right by my side is my amazing partner and co-adventurer, Nicole.
Our story began in the heart of Nampa, Idaho, during our college days. Back then, I was deep into the world of cinema, studying the art of filmmaking. I wasn't just a film enthusiast; I was obsessed with every beautiful film out there. My dream was to become a Director of Photography, the expert behind the captivating lighting in movie scenes.
I poured over every award-winning film, analyzing their magic and losing myself in their incredible music soundtracks. As my time in film school drew to a close, I made a life-changing decision: I bought my very first camera.
And from that moment, my life took a profound turn. The instant I held that camera in my hands, an insatiable desire overcame me. I had to capture everything and everyone I could in photographs. It was like an addiction. "Can't... stop... taking... photos..." became my mantra.
When I wasn't taking photos, I was immersing myself in the fascinating world of photography.
My life became a rhythmic cycle of "Eat. Sleep. Take photos. Repeat," and this enchanting journey has continued since 2008.
But then came the moment I met Nicole, and it was like the universe shifted in the most beautiful way possible. Love at first sight doesn't even begin to cover it. The moment I saw her, I was entranced.
Nicole and I were inseparable, cherishing every moment we could spend together. "I'm pretty sure this is what love feels like... I love you," I told her.
Discovering this profoundness of love, I was inspired to capture its essence through my lens. Just two months later, I was photographing weddings, and that marked the start of my deep dive into the world of weddings.
A year passed, and Nicole and I decided to embark on our own shared adventure by getting married. It was around this time that Nicole, with her immense passion for photography, became eager to join me. In fact, she was the first of us to have her images go viral after a remarkable wedding shoot at Glacier National Park. The world took notice!
Together, we created Adventure Wedding Photography. This venture was all about traveling to breathtaking places, capturing the love stories of amazing couples, and delivering the most breathtaking images we could conjure.
While en route to our couples' weddings, we couldn't help but be captivated by the majestic beauty of the areas we visited. So, we started capturing the awe-inspiring scenery, and that's when we truly connected with nature. There was no turning back.
We thank you wholeheartedly for taking the time to get to know us and our journey. Right now, we call Eagle, ID, our home, where we share our lives with our cute pups, Thunder the Husky and Sage the Aussie, as well as our cat, Yoshi.

At Adventure Wedding Photography, we painstakingly craft every image in your gallery to achieve absolute perfection.
We commit significant resources, investing thousands of dollars annually in our editing and camera equipment. We are constantly in pursuit of new insights and techniques, pushing the boundaries to elevate our craft.
Unlike many wedding photographers who opt for a "One-click" batch editing approach, a shortcut to expedite the process for hundreds or even thousands of photos, we refuse to compromise on the potential of each image.
Our distinctive editing methods demand 40 to 90 hours of meticulous work per wedding album, involving numerous intricate layer adjustments for each photograph.

Austin and Nicole made the memories and experience of our wedding day transcend time, and we are so grateful. Part of why we chose to work with them was to get photo and video in one. It sounded, and is, too good to be true! The photos are marked by gorgeous, deep colors and clarity. They captured all the right moments and provided us with plenty of photos to choose from. Though we had a huge list of photos that we wanted to get before and after the ceremony, they had the patience and organization to make it easy and efficient. The video has stunning footage and is truly like our own wedding movie. Our vows are the music to most of it, and I absolutely love that. Austin is extremely talented in both filming and editing. For the friends and family that couldn't make it, the video makes them feel like they were there. I had asked Austin to make it a bit upbeat and energetic, but also sentimental. He absolutely killed it. We are so happy with the product and moved to tears every time. I only wished I'd booked them an extra hour to capture my brothers parading me around on their shoulders across the dance floor to "Juice", by Lizzo. So let that be your lesson! lol We had the chance to get to know Austin and Nicole during an adventure session a couple of days before the wedding in Glacier NP. Even though we were driving through a rain storm on the way to the spot we planned to shoot, they kept the faith. We escaped with absolutely beautiful photos and not a drop of rain on us! The next day we ran into them adventuring, and the following day they showed up looking spiffy and ready to go. I was able to fully let go and trust them to capture it all. As does pretty much every other review, I give my highest recommendation to Austin and Nicole. We are so grateful to have worked with them!! :)

Look no further than Austin and Nicole. This husband and wife team is so well versed at working together, going with any unexpected changes, and bringing a great energy to the day. We got back our photos and video and our jaws dropped - the only accurate description is WOW. We used them in a national park for an outdoor wedding and they captured the ambience perfectly. They captured so many little candid moments we missed, which really brought another round of joy as we got to relive the night later and see our friends and family celebrating and having a great time. They are professionals and will make sure they capture speeches clearly, are efficient with family photos, and I can't imagine them ever being a difficult vendor to work with. We had about 100 guests and they captured candid moments of nearly every one during the reception, plus the detail shots and posed photos.

Austin and Nicole were so easy and fun to work with throughout the entire process from start to finish. They captured our special day so well down to the littlest details. Many people at the wedding commented on how they were everywhere capturing everyone and everything that was happening. They made sure to capture all the shots on my shot list along with capturing every other important part of the wedding. CAN NOT RECOMMEND ADVENTURE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ENOUGH. 10/10 to this team! They supported and captured our wedding day beautifully. They were in all of the right places in all of the right times and we had great communication leading up to and through the wedding. They listened to the style of photography we expressed we wanted (mostly candid) and fully delivered on both photos and video. Austin and Nicole were both incredibly flexible when things came up and we got behind or changes our original plan throughout the entire day. They both were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful reminding us to smile when fatigue was in or helping us get in a more aesthetic position/pose during formal photography. The dance floor was incredibly important to my husband and they did a wonderful job capturing his personality as well as many of our loved ones. All speeches were captured beautifully and our wedding video is something we will watch again and again. Neither me or my husband are very comfortable in from of camera but this two can find the magic in every moment and created truly beautiful work for us to treasure. There is a true magic working with a husband and wife team, they balance each other wonderful and collectively understand what is important to both parties involved. All of our media was delivered timely and they kept great communication with us the entire time. Highly recommend for any event! Would choose them over and over again!

Austin and Nicole were truly amazing to work with! From the very beginning, it was open communication! They answered my questions and helped us determine what package would work best for our wedding. They captured pictures that we never would have thought about requesting. Working with Adventure Wedding Photography made the process simply, I knew we were in great hands. The photos and videos we received showed that. Throughout the day, it was full of laughs and joy. They caught every single moment from the bridesmaids getting ready to the groomsmen having a blast outside at the bar area. The aerial shots in the video gave me a chance to reminensce and see things through our guests eyes. The turn around time for the photos and video was super fast! After a long search of trying to find the perfect set of creative lenses to shoot our wedding, we finally stumbled upon Austin and Nicole and they absolutely blew us away with their work! They made both me and my wife feel so comfortable during our photoshoot sessions (both engagement and wedding!) and captured some of the most epic shots ever. Though we are extremely limited in our own photo posing creativity, they allowed us to be ourselves and worked with whatever crazy ideas came to mind (and gave us a few pointers). The pictures and the videos they were able to shoot during our wedding were so beautiful and will help us re-live our wedding day over and over. Definitely book them if you want some epic memories of your engagement, wedding, or any special event!

Austin and Nicole are hands down the best. If you want gorgeous photos that accentuate the nature around you just as much as the two of you, don’t look any further. They were fun, personable, professional and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. At one point, Nicole was laying in the Yosemite dirt to get the shot and Austin was so impressive weaving in and out of our guests with his video skills. Austin and Nicole are the BEST! Our time with them at both the engagement/adventure sessions and the wedding felt like they were one of our close friends. The photos were stunning, and we have gotten many countless compliments on our photos and videos from our friends and family wanting to hire them for their own family photos! Our wedding day was also during the snowstorm, and they never wavered! They braved the snowstorm with us all day long. We could not have had better photographers for our BIG day.
